and Rob Garton, Chefs, Proprietors, are pleased to serve you!
1995 graduates of the world's premier culinary college
the Culinary Institute of America, Mary and Rob have spent several
years traveling and working in Savannah, Georgia, and Bermuda before
settling in Spring Lake, New Jersey in 2000. Soon thereafter the Gartons
set their sights on a storefront at the edge of Main Street in Avon
by the Sea and opened MR Chefs Cafè, which later became the Savannah
Seafood Company.
Appreciating what Long Beach Island has to offer, the
Gartons chose this island paradise as the home of their new adventure
- CBCGs and opened this restaurant the 2006 summer season.
All of the food served at CBCGs has a Caribbean-island
influence and is prepared fresh daily. We aim to please with good
food and excellent service.
